Romeo Arahan Jr. (US-based)

Meong ArahanRomeo is the Finance Manager of PRAXIS Associates PH. He is a consultant cum researcher with deep knowledge and expertise on research undertakings as he has six years of experience in every single step in the research process—from data gathering to data analysis and report writing. Romeo can work with both local and international clients in formulating and implementing strategies for their organizations’ specific needs.

Highly skilled in cross-cultural communication, Romeo can transform technical information such as financial and economic principles into simple terms with clarity and brevity. A graduate of Bachelor of Arts, major in Economics (honorable mention) and Diploma in Microfinance from the Jesuit-run Ateneo de Manila University, he has worked with Philippine private companies that engage in outsourcing and real estate business as project development associate, research analyst, and senior program officer. In 2011, he served as Philippine Youth Ambassador of Goodwill to the 38th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme (SSEAYP). Meong is now enrolled in Georgetown University’s Global Human Development (GHD) Program as a Fr Ben Nebres SJ Scholar.

As a licensed real estate broker, Romeo also performs financial runs to evaluate the viability of real estate projects and employs statistical and forecasting methods in providing advice to the real estate and microfinance industries.

During his pastime, Romeo continuously updates himself with local and international current events by reading online news and watching educational videos. These, on top, of listening to the new hits on the radio!
